May 22-24, 2015
Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove, author and co-founder of Rutba House Community, will lead this retreat as he, members of Koinonia Farm reflect on the writings of Clarence Jordan, the experience of Koinonia over seven decades, and lessons for the work of shaping community in our world today. Jonathan has developed a series of retreats based on key wisdom figures in the American community movement such as Clarence Jordan, Dorothy Day, Ella Baker, Saul Alinski, Septima Clark and others. His goal is to hold retreats at the places where these giants lived and worked. He is also serving as the Chair of the 2017 Clarence Jordan Symposium so participants are sure to get a preview of this upcoming event.
