At Koinonia, our first goal to becoming a sustainable farm was to grow our own food to feed not only the community, but also the many visitors and guests who pass through the farm each year. As our surplus grew, we had more and more food to share with and sell to others. Our goal is to grow healthy food all naturally and to help promote the local food movement. Participants will learn about the methods we use to grow and distribute food and will leave the weekend better prepared to grow nutritious food whether that be for family, neighborhood or local area.
