Donate to Restore Flood Damaged Koinonia Home

One of our homes has sustained significant flood damage. Community member Amanda Moore lives in the house we call The Egg House (yes, there’s history in that name!) She was out of town when a pipe ruptured inside the home. By the time it was discovered, the entire home had been flooded for several days.

The flooring, kitchen cabinets, baseboards, furnishings and many of Amanda’s belongings have been removed. Other belongings have been packed up and stored in bins so the lower part of the drywall can be removed and replaced. Mold remediation continues. Ironically, work had already begun in a back bedroom to patch a window/roof leak and remediate mold there.

There is more math to do to determine exactly how much the repairs and restoration will cost, but an initial estimate is $12,000 to $15,000. We need your help!

Thank you for making a one-time contribution to this emergency.

Please know we appreciate any and all support that you can give. In times like these, we depend on our family of supporters all over the world. Thank you.
