Guided Retreats

From time to time, we host classes, workshops, and guided retreats focusing on specific topics and led sometimes by Koinonia members and sometimes by outside facilitators. Check our list of upcoming events!

Education was a part of the original vision for Koinonia Farm and still is today. From time to time, we host classes, workshops, and guided retreats designed around a central theme. Some are more contemplative in nature and others are more hands on. Between sessions, there is plenty of time to rest, pray, reflect, connect, and enjoy Koinonia. Whether the instructor or retreat leader is one of our members or a guest, we would love to have you join us. Check back often to see what’s being scheduled.

We do not currently have any upcoming retreats on the calendar. If you are interested in having your retreat at Koinonia Farm, please email visit@koinoniafarm.org. We’d love to have your group, big or small, at Koinonia!

The Koinonia community grieves the loss of Mrs. Rosalynn Carter. We treasure every moment we were able to spend with her. She, President Carter, and the whole Carter family have been such good neighbors and friends to Koinonia. Mrs. Carter was a peacemaker who, through her work both close to home and further afield, always embodied “love through service to others.” We pray for her, her family, her friends, the City of Plains, and Sumter County. We grieve with them and yet rejoice in the example she has given to all of us and the world.
