Come see Koinonia Farm! We have acres of beautiful pecan orchards to stroll through. We can also walk you through our pecan plants and explain the journey of a pecan from tree to bakery. You can see our grape vineyard, blueberry patch, and other gardens around the farm.
We have something for everyone on our tour. Groups walk through the bakery and chocolate, where all our of products are made and packaged. There may even be samples to test! If you are interested in the history of Koinonia Farm and the surrounding area, you will want to walk around our museum and dining hall timeline display. We are a Georgia Historical Site. You can also begin your tour with a viewing of the Emmy Award winning documentary Briars in the Cotton Patch, which provides a fascinating introduction to part of Koinonia’s long history. You can also see Clarence’s Writing Shack nestled in the peaceful pecan orchards where founder Clarence Jordan wrote most of his books and sermons
Come for lunch as well! Every Monday-Friday, Koinonia sits down as a community to eat lunch with guests, friends, neighbors, and anyone who wants to join us. Lunch is always delicious, handmade, and often features produce from our own gardens
