Please join us September 22 – 25 for Koinonia Farm’s homeschool retreat!  Learn from the farm’s 80 years of history supporting equality and human rights for all, and find your place in today’s important movements for local and global justice.

Please note that while Koinonia Farm is a Christian community, the retreat itself will be secular in nature and families of all faiths and those of no particular faith are equally welcome.

This retreat is geared toward homeschool families with students ages 10 and up who want to make a positive difference in their communities. Younger siblings are welcome and with advanced notice, limited childcare can be provided for children ages 5 – 9. For siblings under 5 years old, please contact us about pricing and accommodation needs.

Student participants must be accompanied by a parent or other adult who will be  responsible for the student during the retreat. Tuition: $675 for the first adult and student and $300 for each additional family member. Tuition includes fully facilitated activities for both adults and students, simple lodging and meals (excluding Saturday lunch), and the opportunity to attend Plains Peanut Festival on Saturday morning. Most guest house rooms have two twin beds, larger rooms may be available for larger families. Most bathrooms are shared. Towels and linens are provided.

Registration is now Open! Sign up HERE. Registration deadline is September 5th.

Here at Koinonia, we are doing our best to ensure the safety of the community and all who come to visit us. To make sure the retreat is safe for all, we do require that all participants are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
