At Koinonia, hospitality has been a part of our lives since our founding. It is the one ministry that has never changed. No matter the ups and downs, we have always welcomed everyone.
Adults of all ages are invited to apply for three months of living and working alongside the community of Koinonia Farm. We have three terms each year — Spring, Summer, and Fall.
We are committed to feeding the hungry physically and spiritually and we take our stewardship of the earth seriously. We work to grow healthy food in healthy soil.
We invite elders from Americus, Plains, throughout Sumter County to join the Circle of Friends. They meet regularly for fellowship, field trips, educational programs and even exercise and entertainment.
Koinonia members, interns and sometimes our guests rotate with others from the area opening the office, greeting people, answering the phone, doing intake, and by offering friendship.
Learning in the peaceful and beautiful setting of Koinonia Farm is a memorable time for all who participate.
